Michael is the Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine at Virginia Tech. His main role in that position is an athletic trainer for the school’s Division I football team but he can also be assisting any of the other 600 student athletes as well. Michael runs us through the flow of a season, his gameday responsibilities, and some of the research projects that Virginia Tech is working on to improve the safety of athletes everywhere.
